neutrals & mixing prints

Free People Rugged Denim Mini Skirt (on sale for under $15!);
Isabel Marant Etoile Ralf Gaucho Velvet Boots (old but found them here and here, similar here;
Brixton Hat (old, similar here and here)
Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Backpack Mini

The print and colours of this Spell Oasis blouse scream fall.  I also love a flowy blouse.  We had mild weather recently so I paired the blouse with a Free People denim skirt and a pair of Isabel Marant booties.  I love mixing prints and the easiest way to do so is by sticking with the same colour family, especially neutrals.

Happy mixing!

fall(ing) for lightweight sweaters

Urban Outfitters Hat (similar here);
Prada Sunglasses;

Hi, there! I'm back to blogging after taking a year off. I had some medical issues to deal with last fall and it took a while to recover.  I have missed blogging (and shopping!) so much.  Summer was extremely busy (we traveled a lot) and I thought, what better time than my favourite season (for fashion) - fall - to start blogging again?  Always excited to start buying new sweaters, I started with some lightweight ones since it's still pretty mild in the South.  This striped free people sweater is perfect.  Since it's a cropped sweater, I paired it with a pair of AGOLDE high-waisted jeans.  I have not shopped much until recently, but I did make one big purchase this past summer.  I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Backpack Mini and it is the perfect backpack.

#OOTD / winter white

#OOTD / winter white

I'm a day late posting my #OOTD (sorry!).  We loved Greenville so much we stayed longer than we planned.  Today's #OOTD is one of my favourites.  I love an all white outfit for fall/winter.  I'm obsessing over this Madewell Fringe Cardigan Sweater, which sadly sold out in my size as I was browsing (currently 25% off with code THATSALE).  Shopbop is having a 'Buy More, Save More' sale with code GOBIG16, which ends Monday.  I love these J Brand Maria High Rise Legging Jeans.  They're the perfect pair of white jeans for sneakers, booties and over-the-knee boots.  I also love these Rachel Comey Mars Sherpa Booties.  The lining will keep those toes extra toasty.  This Free People Essential Backpack is not on sale, but it's at a great price of $50.  Just add a white tee to this look and your 'winter white' outfit is complete!

Happy shopping!

#OOTD / safari chic

#OOTD / safari chic

Happy Friday!  Today's #OOTD is inspired by Farfetch's 'Fashion Blogger's Content Pack' and their editorial (below) on one of the biggest summer trends: safari chic.  I started shopping at Farfetch a couple of years ago when a friend told me you can shop boutiques from around the world (I bought my Valentino Rockstud ballet flats a couple years ago from a boutique in London - how cool is that?).  I also love that they carry vintage pieces, like the Dior skirt above, which fits perfectly with the safari trend.  I combined the safari trend with my favourite trend: off-the-shoulder.  Mixing two trends can be tricky, but this Rag & Bone off the shoulder top is lightweight enough to fit with the easy-breezy vibe.  Add a panama hat, aviators, a backpack and 'safari to swimming pool' espadrilles and you're ready for a safari.  Or Animal Kingdom at Disney.

You can shop the pieces by clicking on the items below!

I love that Farfetch created the Fashion Blogger's Content Pack to help and inspire bloggers by interviewing fashion bloggers and discussing the biggest trends.  You can read Farfetch's 'guide to into the wild style' here and shop the items featured.

Happy shopping!

#OOTD / Coachella

#OOTD: Coachella

Happy Friday!  Keeping the festival vibe going with today's #OOTD.  I've never been to Coachella but have always wanted to go.  I love a good romper and you can't go wrong with denim.  Easy to throw on and go.  A backpack would be the best bag to carry your stuff in since you want your hands free.  The Erlina sandal by Schutz is one of the most comfortable sandals ever and you definitely want that walking around all day.  I prefer a kimono over a jacket because they're so lightweight but they're great for evenings for a little cover up.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
