pink suede booties

{Jeffrey Campbell Cors Suede Peep Toe Bootie (other colours, also here and light pink here);
Urban Outfitters Romper (old, similar here and here);
Urban Outfitters Hat (old);

On Wednesdays we wear pink, right?  Or every day in my case, especially now that I have these booties.  Pink is my favourite colour so of course when I came across these online at Nordstrom a couple of weeks ago, I fell in loooove.  I'm pretty sure I even gasped as soon as I opened the box.  They're a bit on the purple-ish side (I wish they had my size in the light pink) but the colour is gorgeous and the lace up detail is killer.  They're super comfortable and the heel is the perfect height for someone who is no longer a fan of heels.  I might even grab them in a neutral colour.  I wore them out to dinner and paired them with one of my favourite rompers I bought at Urban Outfitters a couple of years ago because they bring out the beautiful flowers in the romper.  I already can't wait to wear these booties again.  They'll look great with anything from jeans to an LWD.  I'm already picturing them paired with this skort I posted the other day and with this Spell dress I scored before my size sold out, which is the one I was obsessing about here.

Don't forget to check out my #OOTD on Friday!

florals & bows

\

{Nasty Gal Adrienne Romper; bracelets: J.Crew, H&M;
sandals: Valentino (bought last summer, love these); sunglasses: Prada}

I was looking for a romper (of course) for a possible night out in Disney (with two young kids, it's a guessing game).  We managed to get the kids out one night and visited Downtown Disney and this romper was perfect for it (although I will admit, I wore a white camisole underneath so that there were no wardrobe malfunctions and flat sandals - running after a toddler is risky in this attire).  I love the floral print of this romper and it reminded me of this Stone Cold Fox one that I was coveting, but for 1/4 of the price it was a no-brainer.

botanical garden

booties: Topshop (similar here); hat: Roxy (old); sunglasses: Prada}

My birthday is this Saturday and I'm having dinner with some girls Friday night so I wanted to find something new to wear.  I love Stone Cold Fox but don't own any pieces, so I thought I would treat myself to one of their tops.  I came across this gorgeous romper, but it's sold out everywhere (at least in my size) and the pre-order I was told would not arrive until July (at time it said June).  So I was on the hunt for a similar romper and came across this beautiful one from Urban Outfitters for a fraction of the price (I did also notice they carry Stone Cold Fox pieces, including some collaboration pieces, so I scooped up this top to wear on my actual birthday).  Of course I could not wait to wear this romper.  I love that you can dress it down with booties, or dress it up with heels.  I'm still thinking about that SCF romper though.
