bella blue

LoveShackFancy Canna Blouse (on sale here, for rent here, budget-friendlier one here, here and here)
Tularosa shorts (old, similar here and here)
LoveShackFancy is coming to Target!!  I'm SO excited!  You can check out the collection here, but it officially drops June 6!  The price point is crazy good (compared to their regular price point) so it'll be hard to pick just one!  Unfortunately, the Target line appears to only be dresses, which is kind of a bummer because I love their skirts and blouses.  I was able to rent this beautiful LoveShackFancy Victorian inspired blouse from Nuuly.  I love the subtle ditsy floral print and, of course, the ruffles and balloon sleeves.  It's so light and airy and perfect for the heat we've been having.  I paired the blouse with white shorts and a pair of jute wedge sandals to keep everything light and summery!

Happy shopping/renting and good luck on June 6!

perfectly victorian pt III

Rebecca Minkoff Mini Suki Cross Body Bag (in black, lilac on sale, this colour will be nice for fall);
Brixton Dalila Hat (in black);

My sister and I went out for dinner Saturday night.  I wore this beautiful Free People 'Perfectly Victorian Mini' dress (also seen on the blog here and here).  Free People came out with a black version and a blue version, which are just as beautiful, but I particularly love the ivory, which sold out quickly but is now back in stock!  I paired the dress this time with my favourite new pink booties.  These Jeffrey Campbell booties surprisingly go well with a lot of pieces in my wardrobe.  I guess that makes sense since I love florals and anything pink.  But it's time to say good-bye to this dress.  I've now worn it 3x, but not quite enough so I'm selling it on Poshmark!  (I'm also selling a bunch of other things from my wardrobe.)  This dress is meant to be a mini and being petite I was hoping that meant it was going to be a bit shorter on me.  But I kept it because it is SO beautiful.  So hopefully someone else will be able to give it the proper love it deserves.  Plus, I have my eye on another Free People dress.  Stay tuned!

perfectly victorian

sandals: MICHAEL Michael Kors; sunglasses: Prada}

If someone asked me to describe Free People to them, I would show them this dress.  It's flowy and the details are incredibly beautiful.  I paired it with wedge sandals for a night out, but it looks great with a pair of gladiator sandals (I just bought these red ones and they look great with this dress).  I wore this dress out to dinner with my husband and kids - to celebrate our 10 year anniversary!  We tried a new restaurant this time (we have seriously been to Olive Garden 4x since we've moved here, mainly because it's down the street).  We went to Carrabba's Italian Grill.  I had the Margherita pizza and Caesar salad which were delicious and the Sogno Di Cioccolata "Chocolate Dream" dessert was to die for!
