Poplin is perfect for the hot and humid weather we've been having.  It's so lightweight and airy.  I'll be living in this ZARA Full Sleeve Poplin Top this spring/summer.  This top also now comes in white, but I love this bright colour.  It's so pretty!  I also love that you could wear this top off the shoulder.  Plus, it's under $40!  (Just a fit note - I'm normally an XS, but ordered this top in a S because XS was sold out at the time.)  I paired the pretty peach top with my go-to AGOLDE cutoffs, but it would really pop against white jeans (or shorts)!  I'll also be pairing this top with these For Love & Lemons floral shorts. 

 

ZARA has a lot of pretty poplin pieces.  I'm loving this Printed Poplin Shirt and this Embroidered Poplin Top.  I love the ruffled straps on this Embroidered Poplin Top.  I love the big bow on this fuchsia Poplin Top.  Tie Dye is still a big trend this season.  I'm loving this Tie Dye Poplin Top.  I also love a poplin dress.  This bubble gum pink Short Poplin Dress, this pastel pink Poplin Midi Dress and this Printed Poplin Dress are so pretty!  I'm also loving this Ruffled Poplin Skirt.  I love a romper/jumpsuit so I'm coveting this red Short Poplin Jumpsuit.

I am obsessing over Petersyn (also here) lately.  I would literally buy every piece, but the pieces are not the most budget-friendly.  (Of course, this top is now on sale!)  As much as I love every piece, this gorgeous top was calling my name: it's pink, off-the-shoulder, gingham and has statement sleeves.  I actually bought this top before we left Myrtle Beach, but it's been too hot to wear it so I've been waiting for cooler weather.  I initially thought of pairing this beautiful pink gingham top with white jeans and gladiator sandals but, since I'm in fall mode, I paired it with dark skinny jeans and booties.

I'm also obsessing over the plaid version for fall!

spring mules #inspo

I've been looking for the perfect pair of mules for spring.  I'm obsessing over these gorgeous Gucci Princetown New Flora Mules (or these pink ones, or these rose-print ones).  With a pair of mules this gorgeous, I would pair them with cropped flared jeans to really show them off, an off-the-shoulder top (I love pairing stripes with florals), a pair of sunglasses and a pretty bag.  And would wear this outfit on repeat.

This is now my fourth pair of One Teaspoon bandits.  I am obsessed.  I have them in light blue (also here), pink, heart-printed and now these worn white ones.  The only ones I'm eyeing now are these (or these) black ones and I think my collection will be complete.  Although, these are 'worn white' so I could also use these bright white ones.  I went with the 'worn white' ones since I already have a pair of bright white shorts, but they're a tighter fit so I will probably invest in a pair of bandits.  Ok, maybe these dark blue ones too.  Is that too many?  But I L O V E them because they're SO comfy.  I will admit, I ordered another pair of these but the button fell off so I exchanged them and was worried the next pair wouldn't fit the same.  They don't.  But for the most part I love the way bandits fit.  They're short in the front, you can roll them up if you want them even shorter and the back covers your butt completely.  Obviously they're quite casual, which is why I love pairing them with pretty, flirty, flowy feminine tops. 

#OOTD / fall ready in black & white

It's that time of year already: the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  It's not your typical sale because these are new items that will go back to regular price in a couple of weeks.  I usually take advantage of the sale to buy key essentials for fall: a jacket, jeans, booties.  This Topshop Leather Biker Jacket is my pick.  A must-have for fall.  You can dress it down with jeans or throw it over a pretty dress.  I've been eyeing this striped off the shoulder top at Nasty Gal this week, but now my size is gone (boo).  I love black and white for fall (really the only time I wear black) so I paired the striped tee with black skinny jeans which, to me, are a must-have for fall.  I am obsessing over these L'Agence Margot Skinny Jeans.  They have a high rise and are cropped, which are the two things I'm looking for.  Neiman Marcus is also having a killer sale on shoes.  These Maison Margiela Open-Toe Booties are over 50% off.  They're a great buy since they'll easily take you well into fall.
