wedge sneakers

(Marc by Marc Jacobs High Top Wedge Sneaker: nordstrom.com, more camo sizes here)

I am obsessed with wedges of any kind so when I saw that Marc Jacobs came out with a pair of wedge sneakers earlier this year, I had to get a pair.  The only problem was that when I tried finding them, they were sold out everywhere.  Thankfully, I just stumbled across these and knew not to wait to snatch the camo ones up.  I normally don't wear sneakers, but I have been trying to find a pair for years that I like.  I have a feeling I'm going to be living in these next spring/summer.  Now if only winter would go away quickly.

Also, for someone who loves pink, I am in LOVE with these Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers and these Ash ones are a cute, more affordable pair.

kitty loafer

(Marc by Marc Jacobs Rue Kitty Velvet Loafer: neimanmarcus.com)

One of my first pair of Marc by Marc Jacobs shoes were a pair of mouse flats.  I bought them years ago and they're still one of my favourite pairs of shoes to wear.  Every time I look down at my feet they make me smile.  (I'm a big believer that fashion should be fun and that's probably why Marc Jacobs is one of my favourite designers.)  The problem is that when I see a new pair come out (like these camo ones), I have a hard time resisting them.  I want them all!  But these loafers remind me of the Charlotte Olympia ones I was wanting earlier this year (by the way, I LOVE these silver ones), so I snatched them up.  (Plus, they're a fraction of the price!)  Of course, I had a really hard time deciding between these kitty ones and these dog ones.  Seriously, might have to get both. -M

perfect holiday dress

(Marc by Marc Jacobs Natalia Tiered Dress: neimanmarcus.com, also here)

Every girl needs a perfect LBD.  I love this one because of the tiered skirt, which means you can keep it casual (& comfy!) with tights and boots (I like these stud-embellished Guess booties), or you can dress it up with jewelry (I'm obsessed with collar necklaces like this and this one) and/or a great pair of heels (dying for these Dolce Vita black and gold ones).  When wearing all black, I always need a pop of colour with a great bag (love the Coach fold over clutch, in fuchsia).  I love that this dress can take you from dinner with the girls to a holiday party.  But why I really love this dress?  It's not too fitted so you can basically eat anything you want and still be able to breathe.  My kind of holiday dress. -M

something blue

(Marc Jacobs Single Quilted Large Crossbody Bag: neimanmarcus.com)

("Opening Night" by Sephora by OPI)

I have a credit at Neiman Marcus.  (I actually returned something, which is extremely rare for me.  I'm one of those, 'oh, these shoes don't fit that great but I'll totally still wear them.'  Two years later they're up on eBay and I'm crying that I have to sell them because guess what?  I never wore them.  WHY didn't I return them?!  It doesn't help that 99% of my shopping is done online.  I was always a shopaholic, but now that it's at my fingertips 24/7... I think they have to come up with a new name for that.  I'm getting better.  See, I have a credit.)  I wanted to wait until spring/summer to use the credit and buy a fun dress or something for my return to work so I wasn't too depressed (I'm on maternity leave), but I don't think I can wait.  This bag is calling me.  I've always wanted a Marc Jacobs quilted bag and I'm wearing blue nail polish, so I'm pretty sure that's a sign.  Says, the online shopaholic.  Seriously, there has to be a cooler name than that?

current obsession: camouflage parka

(Marc by Marc Jacobs Forks Printed Cotton Parka: net-a-porter.com, also here)

So if it wasn't for the major purchases I have made recently and for the upcoming holidays, I would be all over this jacket.  Unfortunately, my budget won't allow for it.  Or maybe it will if, say, it went on sale.  I keep thinking about this jacket though.  Usually when I can't stop thinking about something, I end up getting it.  But in this case, I'll have to hold my breath and hope it goes on sale, or pick up this more affordable one at Zara.

I must have a thing for parkas in general right now because I just bought this one from the GAP in yellow.  (Bonus: it's 30% off until Sunday!)

bunny phone

(Marc by Marc Jacobs Katie Bunny iPhone Case: shopbop.com)

As a lover of all things Marc Jacobs and my obsession with pink, the minute I saw this bunny case I had to get it for my new iPhone 4S.  It's super fun and really bright so you could spot your phone a mile away!

Not a neon pink kinda gal?  I also love these Coach cases.  Why stick with one case anyway, I say?  That's like wearing the same pair of shoes every day.
