I am beyond obsessed with West Palm Beach.  We went there for a quick getaway to unwind before the kids started school.  It's one of our favourite places to visit.  It's SO beautiful, laid back and the food is incredible.  Most of our time was spent at the beach (it was not packed, unlike our beaches here in North Florida, which was so nice).  We also love strolling down Worth Avenue and around Rosemary Square.  I packed easy-breezy dresses, cotton tops and this Free People Beyond Obsessed Romper.  I love rompers.  They're so easy to throw on and comfy to move around in.  It was also super windy by the beach so I was lucky I wore it!  

 

This Free People romper is available in 6 colours and only $68!  I originally purchased it in green, which I love, but I don't think the colour suits me.  So when I saw this colour pop up online, I immediately scooped it up.  It's such a fun colour to wear and I'm now on the hunt for more clothes in this shade.  I love the babydoll style (to make room for all of the tacos and to help keep cool in the heat) and the exaggerated sleeves.

 I can't believe how fast this summer flew by.  My kids will be starting school in one week!  I've been so lazy this summer, I'm trying to motivate myself to start getting dressed again since I'll have to leave the house every day starting next week.  This outfit is my go-to summer uniform: a pretty blouse and denim cut off shorts.  Add a hat and a pretty bag and it looks like you really made an effort (but it's very easy to throw together).

FARM Rio has become one of my favourite brands.  Their pieces are SO unique and pretty.  Pink is my favourite colour, but it was the sweet ruffles (and puff sleeves) that drew me to this top.  (Speaking of pink tops, I had also ordered this pretty FARM RIO floral top, which is still available in some sizes!)  I paired the pink wrap top with my pink Lack of Color Hat and pink Gucci bag, but the denim cut offs and Vans keep the outfit from being overly sweet.

Jen's Pirate Booty Aloha Shenandoah Tunic (also here)

We headed to the beach and I attempted to shoot this pretty Jen's Pirate Booty Tunic, but it was extremely windy (so much so we skipped going to the beach altogether), so backyard photoshoot it is.  I immediately wanted this Jen's Pirate Booty tunic as soon as I came across it on the Revolve site.  I'm a huge fan of Jen's Pirate Booty's effortless and flowy pieces (a little throwback here to one of my favourite JPB pieces - post is NSFW).  This tunic did not disappoint.  It is so light and airy, perfect for the heat in Florida.  The print is SO pretty.  I love the plunging neckline, open back and blouson sleeves.  It's a perfect day-to-night piece - you could wear it to the beach as a coverup and then dress it up with sandals.  The tunic is also available in another colour on the JPB site, tagged above.

 

This 'Aloha Shell' print is also available in a belted dress with an asymmetrical hem, pull-on shorts and a sarong.

Free People Just Float On Printed Flare Jeans in Blue Hawaii Combo

A quick post today to share these amazing Free People Just Float On Printed Flare Jeans!  (Note: I sized down one size because they're stretchy.)  Earlier this year, I purchased a solid pink pair of these flared jeans and spoke of my love for them on the blog here, which are still available here, along with 20 other colours!  Some colours even come in 'short' and 'long' lengths! 

 

As soon as I saw these floral printed jeans, I instantly fell in love with them.  Originally, I was eyeing the purple pair, but these blue ones really caught my eye and I couldn't resist buying them.  These printed jeans are currently available in 12 prints!  I have yet to wear them since it's extremely hot out, but I would pair them with a simple cropped, white tee and wedge sandals.

It's finally the last week of school!  It's been a stressful few weeks, but I'll be back to blogging at a regular schedule for the summer.  Today I'm blogging about another Spell & The Gypsy Collective beauty: the Folk Song Boho Dress from the Folk Song Collection.  I have not been on Instagram much the past few weeks so I had no idea that Spell was dropping a new collection, but I happened to log on the day before (or even the day of) and spotted this beauty.  I've mentioned, probably a few times, how drawn I am to the boho dresses.  (I was contemplating purchasing the Folk Song blouse.)  

 

The only hesitation for me was the colour.  Pink is my favourite colour, but I tend to stay away from rose-coloured clothes so I'm still not entirely convinced that this dress suits my complexion, but the colour is SO pretty!  The print is so pretty too.  I just love how effortless the boho dresses are, but you feel like you're wearing something fancy.  Of course, you could dress the dress up with strappy sandals, but I usually wear them to the beach because of how easy they are to throw on and how flowy they are.

 

I'm also coveting the Dylan Smock Dress from the collection, which is the perfect white dress for summer.  I'm also loving the Folk Song Square Neck Gown, especially the colours, but it would sadly be way too long on me.

Usually for the spring/summer season, I'm drawn to bright colours, but I can't resist a polka dot dress!  Plus, the colour of this Faithfull The Brand mini dress is one that works all year round (bonus!).  I love the babydoll style and puff sleeves.  This linen dress can be worn casually with a pair of flat sandals, or dressed up with heels.  It would also look great in the fall paired with black booties!  You could even wear this dress off-the-shoulder for another look.

I'm also loving this Faithfull The Brand black and white polka dot midi dress.  I've been coveting this LoveShackFancy Dorna Dress (love the acid wash!).  This Figue polka dot dress is SO pretty!  I'm loving this ZARA linen-blend polka dot dress.

I've been obsessing over crochet this spring, but this Farm Rio Flower Crochet Blouse is SO stunning!  I love all of the beautiful, bright colours!  Of course, I love the puff sleeves.  I paired the pretty blouse with my go-to AGOLDE cutoffs, pink Lack of Color hat and pretty ZARA sandals with pearls, which are now under $30!  I usually don't wear a lot of jewellery, but I've been wearing this Free People Chain Ring Set a lot since I purchased it back in March.  Unfortunately, the colour I'm wearing is sold out, but they have the set available in brass.  I love mixing them up by only wearing a few at a time.  

 

I'm already planning my next outfit with this crochet blouse because I'm that obsessed with it.  Next, I'll be pairing it with these '70's Blue' Free People Loving Good Vibrations Cutoffs, which really bring out the bright blue in the blouse.

I spoke about my love of patchwork on the blog here.  I love the patchwork on this Free People California Soul Printed Maxi Top (or midi dress, as it's referred to on the Shopbop site).  It's quite sheer so it's perfect as a beach coverup.  I threw it over a Free People FP One Adella Bralette and a pair of AGOLDE cutoffs.  You could also wear a slip underneath, or this Free People Everyday Bikeshort Romper.  It's a super lightweight chiffon material and floats with the slightest breeze, but with the long, balloon sleeves, this maxi top can take you from day to night.

Free People Lost In You Printed Tunic

I purchased this Free People Lost In You Printed Tunic last month and have been wanting to do a proper shoot because it's one of those 'I-want-to-twirl-around-in-this' type of tunics/dresses, but I noticed it's selling out quickly everywhere and just wanted to post it up on the blog since I love it so much!  It's completely sold out on most sites, but I did find all sizes available at Dillard's (linked above) and - bonus - it's on sale!  There are also a few sizes left in the darker version here.  This tunic is so pretty!  I love the contrasting floral print and the frilly hem.  It's lightweight, which is perfect for the Florida heat, but it has long sleeves to keep you warm if it's still relatively cool where you live.  Plus, if you're taller, you'll most likely have to pair it with a pair of jeans, or shorts.  I'm so petite and can wear it as a mini dress (most mini dresses are too long on me). 

 

I love a tunic, but I especially love a Free People tunic, as seen on the blog here, here, here (paired with jeans!) and here (a tunic I wore several times on the blog).  I also recently purchased this Free People floral print tunic, which I'll be wearing on my next trip to the beach.  I love the bold floral print!  I love the ruffled collar on this Free People floral print tunic (the 'Tea Combo' is especially pretty).  I love, love, love the emerald colour of this Free People floral print tunic, and I had ordered it, but unfortunately the sleeves were too long on me.  The 'Golden Combo' is also really pretty.  Since it's been quite hot here already, I'm eyeing this sleeveless Free People floral print tunic.

If you're looking for a pair of jeans, I'm loving these AG Ultra High-Rise Balloon-Leg Jeans (so long, skinny jeans!).  I'm also loving the pretty colour of these EDWIN Bree High-Rise Slim Straight Jeans.  I live in my AGOLDE Parker denim shorts, so I scooped up the darker version!  I own these Embroidered Shorts, which are now on sale, and love them!

Free People Youthquake Printed Crop Flare Jeans

 

Just a quick post today!  I purchased these pretty Free People Printed Crop Flare Jeans back in February and have been wanting to wear/shoot them, but it's been extrememly hot.  (I clearly should have taken advantage of the weather back in February.)  The print is so fun and I love the bright coral colour!  Unfortunately, this pretty vintage-inspired daisy print is almost sold out, but these jeans now come in an 'Indigo Gingham' print!  (They also come in another print, but they're almost sold out as well.)  These flare jeans have stretch to them so they're super comfortable.  They're cropped but, since I'm so petite, they're basically a regular flare jean on me, which makes me happy because I don't have to hem them.  I would not be surprised to see these flare jeans in more prints in the near future!

 

If you're looking for a floral print jean, I'm also obsessing over these Free People floral-print flare jeans.  The 'Hibiscus Combo' is SO pretty and, if you're really looking for a bold print, the 'Psychedelic Combo' print is super cool.  I own the 'Lime Combo' and these jeans are also super comfortable.

When I started shopping for spring, I realized I was in need of shorts.  Something in between my H&M Sweatshorts that I've been living in for the past year (or so) and my denim cutoffs (still trying to fit back into about 90% of them).  As soon as I saw these LoveShackFancy Scalloped Tie-Dyed Shorts, I fell in love.  They come in two other colours, but I was immediately drawn to these bright pink ones.  I love that they're tie-dyed, but what drew me to them (besides the pretty colour) was the scalloped trims.  They just add that special touch.  You can wear them fitted, but I chose to size up for a more relaxed fit (mentally, I'm still in sweatpant-mode).  If they were more budget-friendly, I would be buying all three colours.  They're so comfy and exactly what I was looking for.  

 

I paired the pretty knit shorts with an equally pretty crochet shirt from ZARA.  These knit shorts would really stand out with a simple white tee.  If you love a matching set, there is a matching pullover and a matching track jacket!

The tie dye trend is not going anywhere.  There are so many great pieces to choose from.  I recently ordered this Show Me Your Mumu Rainbow Tie Dye Boyfriend Sweatshirt and these Show Me Your Mumu Rainbow Tie Dye Girlfriend Shorts.  I'm obsessing over these LoveShackFancy Cropped Belted Tie-Dyed Tapered Pants and this LoveShackFancy Frayed Tie-Dyed Mini Dress.

I have a slight obsession with embroidery.  Okay, it's a major obsession.  One of my all-time favourite embroidered pieces in my closet is this Free People embroidered jacket and, most recently, this Free People patchwork mini dress.  Embroidered denim?  That's a combo that's hard for me to resist.  One of my favourite embroidered denim pieces is this pair of ZARA embroidered jeans.  The embroidery just adds that special touch to make a simple pair of jeans (or denim shirt in this case) unique. 

 

This Free People Marrakesh Embroidered Denim Top is definitely a unique piece.  The embroidery on the front is so pretty, but I especially love the back of this top!  I chose to go denim on denim and pair this top with my go-to AGOLDE cutoffs, but it would really pop against a pair of white jeans.  It would also look great paired with black jeans and some boots in the fall!

We went to the beach earlier this week to watch the sunset.  I wore this beautiful Free People Mended With Scarves Mini Dress.  This 'light combo' colour sold out pretty much everywhere quickly, but I found it at Belk and they're having a 'doorbuster' deal on it today!  (This dress also comes in blue, which I've linked above.)  I'll be wearing this dress on repeat all spring/summer.  I love the mixed floral print design.  It's so light and flowy, perfect for the beach.  I paired the pretty dress with a pair of Marc Fisher LTD. espadrille sandals, which come in 4 colours.  I purchased them at Bloomingdale's and they're offering 25% off if you purchase two or more pairs of shoes until May 2!
