floral doormat



Happy Sunday!  Just a quick post to share my new doormat from Anthropologie.  I love getting a new doormat.  They brighten up your front door and are relatively inexpensive.  I love the floral print of this doormat.  It also comes in a longer version.  I was debating between this Hello Spring Doormat and the one I purchased but, because it's not quite spring yet, I went with the simple 'hello' greeting.  I also like this gingham one, but our door is red so it wouldn't match.  As a huge Disney fan, I was also contemplating this Mickey Mouse Doormat from Pottery Barn, which is adorable.

friday find: faux leather skort


 
  Happy Friday!  ZARA has the best skorts.  I remember years and years ago when ZARA's white skort was seen everywhere (if you google 'ZARA white skort street style', you'll see what I mean).  I even purchased it myself and wore it all the time.  Years later, I'm still a fan of the skort.  Browsing through ZARA's new arrivals, as I often do, I came across this faux leather skort and immediately fell in love, and it brought me back to those days.  I love the colour and the front knot detail makes it so unique.  Bonus, this skort is under $40!  I also love this floral skort.
 
The great thing about a skort is that, even though it looks fancy, they're basically shorts so you can pretty much get away with wearing them anywhere and not look overdressed.  Pair it with a cozy sweater (you can check out my 'winter white' finds here) and throw on some boots, or white sneakers, which is what I would probably do.

winter white






 Free People Sadie Denim Tunic (available in 4 colours)

Typically when I wear 'winter white', it consists of a white sweater and white jeans, but it was so gorgeous out yesterday, I took advantage and wore this Free People denim tunic.  I love the ruffle details!  This denim tunic is so light and airy, you can't help but twirl around in it!  It's so comfy to wear.  It's perfect for a day at the beach, chilling in your backyard, or running errands.

I have always loved wearing an all-white outfit, especially in the winter.  I love mixing white and cream for a little contrast (i.e., a pair of white jeans, paired with a cream knit sweater).  I love a 'winter white' sweaterdress (this Free People Free Fall Sweater Maxi Dress looks SO cozy!), or a 'winter white' knit skirt (like this Tularosa Cozy Ivy Mini Skirt).  Below are some other 'winter white' pieces I'm loving:

friday find: pink cardigan & valentine's day edit

Happy Friday!  When I came across this For Love & Lemons Cropped Cardigan on Revolve, I immediately thought it would be perfect for Valentine's Day.  Although I could take Valentine's Day or leave it, I do enjoy browsing all of the online gift guides/shops because I love anything pink, red and/or printed with hearts.  Anthropologie's Valentine's Day Shop is up on their site.  I'm loving this Farm Rio Amore Maxi Skirt, which covers the pink & red and heart print categories, below.  Shopbop has their Valentine's Day Edit up on their site.  This Love You More Necklace or this heart necklace would make a great gift.
 
PINK & RED 
 
I just ordered these Free People flare jeans in 'Pasasena Pink'.  I've been eyeing this pink, plush For Love & Lemons Sweater (I love the open back!) and this pink ZARA Oversized Knit Sweater.  I'm also eyeing this gorgeous pink Tulle Maxi Skirt, which comes in petite sizes, and this pink textured cardigan.  I have also always loved wearing red (my prom dress was red!), although I don't wear it as often as I wear pink.  I'm coveting this red En Saison Babydoll Tiered Top and this Lack of Color Ruby Rancher.  I've also mentioned on the blog, probably many times, that I love pairing pink & red together, especially for Valentine's Day (here I paired pink jeans with a red top and here I paired a pink sweater with a red coat).  This Lovers + Friends Sweater Dress is perfection!  I'm also loving this Colorblocked Cardigan from Anthropologie.

HEART PRINT 
 
I also love anything with a heart print (my favourite pieces being this LoveShackFancy heart-print sweater and this sweater from Urban Outfitters, which I live in still to this day).  I just ordered these LoveShackFancy x Beach Riot shorts because of the patchwork heart detail on the back.  I'm also loving this LoveShackFancy crewneck sweater, which I posted on Instagram.  Also, this LoveShackFancy cropped cardigan.  How cute are these adidas Superstar Sneakers with heart details?  Or these heart printed crew socks from the GAP?  If you want to wear your heart on your... butt, these Free People Be Mine Denim Flare Jeans with heart adorned back pockets are adorable.  I've been coveting this GOGO Heart Pullover, which I learned is made from a company in Canada!  (You can check out their site here.  I could've used one of these wool sweaters when I lived back in Canada!)  LOFT also has some adorable heart print pieces like this Heart Sweater, this Lou & Grey Love Sweater and this Lou & Grey Heart Sweater.  This BedHead Pajamas heart-print pajama set and these Stripe & Stare heart-print lounge pants are so cute.   
 
LINGERIE
 
Last, but certainly not least, if you're looking for lingerie, For Love & Lemons has the prettiest lingerie!  This For Love & Lemons for Victoria's Secret pink underwire bra is so pretty.  I'm loving these Stripe & Stare heart print underwear.  I'm partial to the Free People Adella Bralette, which is not currently available in red, so I'm loving this Adella Cami in Cherry Red.  Of course there's Rihanna's lingerie line, Savage X Fenty.  I'm loving this Linking Hearts Embroidery Lace Bra.
