Hope everyone had a nice, relaxing weekend!  I was hoping to get to the beach, but I was pretty unmotivated this weekend.  I can't seem to get my energy back from the gloomy week we had last week, but this Free People top put a little pep in my step today!  It's the perfect little top for a day at the beach, but I couldn't help but put it on today.  It's such a fun top!  I love the bell sleeves and the colour is SO pretty.

 

 

I love that you can wear it two different ways, but I prefer off-the-shoulder.  Best part, this top is only $58!  It also comes in black.  It's a crop top so I paired it with a pair of black, high-waisted cutoffs.  I purchased these cutoffs on the Levi's site and most sizes are sold out, but I found them at Urban Outfitters, Revolve and Shopbop.

friday find: cozy sandals

 Birkenstock Arizona Shearling-Lined Sandals

Happy Friday!  I have never owned a pair of Birkenstocks.  They're right up my alley since I live in my Adidas slides, but I tried them on once and found they felt uncomfortable - maybe you have to break them in.  Then I came across these shearling-lined Birkenstocks on the Anthropologie site recently and they looked so cozy that I thought I'd give them a shot.  They are SO cozy!  They're perfect for slipping on with my lounge wear (like these velvet joggers that are equally as cozy) when I need to quickly run an errand.

friday find: oversized blazer

Happy Monday!  I did not do much this weekend, except catch up on my sleep from last week and do some online shopping.  I am always browsing the 'new in' section of ZARA.  I recently came across a sweater vest that I thought was really cute (to be honest, I can't recall which one exactly), but it sent me down a rabbit hole of sweater vests that I ended up ordering five.  It's funny because the first thing I thought of was Chandler Bing from Friends and that I couldn't believe I was buying sweater vests, ha.  Well, these are obviously not your boring sweater vests.  I love that sweater vests are now a trend because it means I can get my sweater fix, but not sweat to death here in North Florida.  I ordered various colours (cream, pink...) and various textures (cable knit, wool blend...).  The first one I'm sharing is this forest green, ruffled knit vest.  The sleeves are definitely what sold me.  It's also a soft material and not too heavy.  Once it cools down here, I'll be pairing it with a long-sleeved tee underneath and a pair of jeans.
