It's still sweater weather and it's getting depressing.  Especially because I'm still wearing my wool coat on top of it (and still cold!).  It was so cold and rainy today (I shot this picture on the weekend when it was actually sunny) and the only thing getting me through this miserable weather is wearing brights, like these ZARA pants.  (And large Tim Hortons teas.)  Of course I fell in love with these Pierre Hardy pumps because they're pink, but also because they have a gold-tone plated heel, which makes them unique.  I added my adorable MICHAEL Michael Kors handbag with gold-tone hardware and some gold-tone jewellery to tie it all together.

This is the second top that I bought recently with lips on it.  Who can resist a kiss, let alone a wild one?  I discovered Maison Scotch just a little while ago and now am a big fan.  I love the leopard touch to this t-shirt so, of course, paired it with these amazing Matiko leopard wedges since I seem to be matchy-matchy with my outfits these days.  I used to buy a lot of t-shirts, specifically Marc by Marc Jacobs ones, but they would just sit in my drawer because usually when I get home from work I immediately put on my pjs and weekends I usually dress up.  Now that I'm on mat leave, I've been wearing a lot more casual clothes, which is nice for a change.

I started off the day thinking I was finally going to be able to wear one of my (3) new rompers to Niagara Falls because it looked like it was going to be a hot day, only to feel the weather before I got dressed and... it was chilly.  So I threw on this outfit, even packing my new denim jacket, only to get to Niagara Falls and it being scorching hot.  All I could think about was how I could have actually worn one of my rompers and evil-eyeing anyone wearing one (kidding!).  Then, all I could think about was finding a Starbucks so I could get my favourite Shaken Passion Iced Tea because I was slowly passing out from the heat because I was clearly overdressed.  Tomorrow is supposed to be hotter... and you know what I'm going to be throwing on.

My favourite part of a rainy day is when the sun comes out.  It just seems more sunny than usual because of the gloominess beforehand.  Yesterday, it also became really hot.  The kind of weather I live for.  And I'm well prepared, stocking up on shorts from GAP to J.Crew.  It seems I'm sticking to florals and polka dots.  The only thing I need now is some colour on my skin.
