current obsession: mouse espadrille

I'm heading to the Bahamas next month and ordered myself two pairs of espadrilles.  How bummed was I then when I came across these?  Why am I even looking at more espadrilles?  The only problem is that I'm petite and I'm not sure if I can pull off the ankle strap, but if one of those pairs don't fit, I'll be ordering these to find out.

I love mixing and matching.  Stripes and polkadots... stripes and florals... polkadots and leopard print.  Even polkadots and polkadots.  A great denim shirt helps pull the look together.  I've been living in this Marc by Marc Jacobs one.  It flares out a bit so it also looks great with dark skinny jeans for a denim on denim look.  (Another look I love.)  Oh, and of course the big trend...black and white.

Another warm day earlier this week (in January!), although it was raining.  I never used to like it when it rained (for obvious reasons), until I bought these rain boots.  I actually get excited now because I get to wear them.  As soon as I saw them, I had to have them.  Usually the way it is for me when I spot something by Marc Jacobs.  I can almost always tell something is Marc by Marc Jacobs just by looking at it.  It's a fun game I play with my husband when we're shopping.  (A game that I'm not sure he actually participates in.)  It's the fun details that draw me in.  I mean, these rain boots look like they have laces!

It was such a gorgeous day on Saturday.  I'm not a big fan of snow, or the freezing cold, but when the sun is shining and I don't have to wear Uggs and bundle up so much that I can't breathe, I can live with snow.  (Not that I really have a problem wearing Uggs.)  So I was off to the mall and I decided to break in my wedge sneakers.  I couldn't wait until spring!  I love them so much.  They were so comfortable.  I was right, I will live in them.  For someone lacking height, they're the perfect shopping shoe.  And I do a lot of shopping.

p.s. I posted the picture, below, on Instagram and tweeted it and @marcjacobsintl replied "so good!".  How freakin' cool is that!?

Even with all the neon and the black and white trending, I'm thinking pink.  I'm usually thinking bright pink, but not at this time.  (Okay, I am obsessing over this bag.)  Now the trouble is deciding which one.

My obsession with polka dots continue with these super adorable sunglasses.  Would it be too much to wear them with this polka dot denim jacket?  Maybe.  But I would be one to try it out.

I'm petite so I've been told my whole life that "good things come in small packages".  In this case, I would very much agree.
