It cooled down this past weekend and I was a bit annoyed that I couldn't wear one of my new rompers or dresses to dinner because I'm dying for summer weather to get here (we keep getting teased with it), but then I saw this jacket and although was picturing it with a crochet crop top and high-waisted cutoffs, I took advantage of the weather and paired it with skinny jeans instead.  This jacket is SO beautiful.  Maybe I was drawn to it because I'm Ukrainian and it reminded me of the shirts I used to wear as a child, but either way I'm so happy it's one of the items I scooped up at the Shopbop sale for 25% off (unfortunately now over).  But this jacket is not as lightweight as I had thought (or it probably looks), which is great for the weather now, but it's lightweight enough that it'll be great for summer nights at the beach.  So, well worth the full price.

LWD & pom-pom sandals

Happy Friday!  Today's #OOTD is inspired by these amazing sandals I just received in the mail.  I contemplated buying them a while back when I saw them at Shopbop, but by the time I decided to buy them they sold out in my size.  Then I became obsessed with getting them and thankfully found them in stock at Avenue32 (first-time purchase from them - quick shipping and super cute packaging!)  As soon as I opened the box I fell in love.  They are super embellished and fun and different.  I mean, they have pom poms!  (I also love these, these, these and these are under $100.)  I regret not buying this dress during Shopbop's 25% off sale, but I was too overwhelmed and couldn't decide what to buy!  I did pick up this Free People jacket I've been coveting and these One Teaspoon shorts since I live in bandits all summer (plus, I'm pretty sure I've said in the past, 'if it has hearts on it, I will buy it').  I think overall I made the right decision.  This little white dress though is the perfect LWD.  It looks easy breezy and it's off-the-shoulder, which is a bonus!

A tunic called 'sunshine'?  Sold!  It doesn't hurt it's under $100 and has awesome bell sleeves.  This tunic is perfect for spring.  It's flowy and bright and has a beautiful floral print, which I think is required for spring.  Because I'm petite, I paired it with dark skinny jeans and heels, but I'll also be rocking it sans pants when it gets even warmer.  It'll be perfect for beach days & nights.

It's that time of year again, shopbop's friends & family sale where you save 25% off everything (including sale items!), using code INTHEFAM.  If you are on the email list you could've started shopping yesterday (a day earlier than everyone else), but it took me almost all day to try to decide on what to buy!  I ended up wanting to sleep on it and today most of the things I wanted have sold out!  Luckily, I have a lot of 'hearts' to choose from and I thought I would share some of my hearts.

We're back from Disney and I'm exhausted.  We ended up stuck in traffic the whole way home, but we had a great time, as always.  We went to the beach before we left and although it was warm, it was super windy.  This dress was flying all over the place!  It's a great dress for a walk on the beach.  I brought it with me to Disney but it was way too hot to wear it.  But I'll be living in this dress all year round.  It's SO comfortable and the print is beautiful.  This dress is supposed to be a midi dress, and I was unsure how it would look on me, but I'm so happy with the way it fits (you could also belt it for more shape).  It's more of a maxi dress on me and I'm perfectly happy with that.  Plus, I have the option of wearing it with flat sandals, which is always a bonus.
